I had to take a HUGE leap of faith that my coaches knew what they were talking about when they said not to worry. I have now completed over 10 triathlons (Thankfully, I have never seen an alligator during any of them.), 2 full marathons, 4 half-marathons, a 3-Mile open water swim and many long bike rides, including one bike ride that was 100 miles long. I have done all this because each time I commit to something, I know that I will do what it takes to get to the finish line. All I have to do is listen to the coaches and leaders and do exactly what they say. Has it always been easy? NO! Do I sometimes feel overwhelmed & tired? YES Do I feel good when I work hard and succeed? YOU BET! I am on top of the world!
